I took a trip to Wolf Timbers, a small wolf educational park in Bolivar, Ohio, this afternoon to meet their pack and attend one of their educational presentations. I got a few pics of the wolves (not the best, shooting through a fence sucks!), and some video, and wanted to share!

A friend of mine used to volunteer there, and wanted to introduce me to the facility and meet the owner. With any luck, I'll be volunteering there later this summer, and will be able to interact with their three magnificent wolves. It would be an incredible educational experience for me, and super valuable for the work I want to do with wolfdog rescue. I'm also going to book 2 seminars at Wolf Park in Indiana for this summer and fall... can't wait to get out there and really jump in with both feet. :D

First things first: ironically, we were behind this truck on the highway on the way to Wolf Timbers:

Ingo sizing me up:

Nira used to be the alpha, and was completely black as a youngster. Now that he's older, he's phasing out to grey.
