The mutts are at the groomer and when I came home from Target, there was no one to greet me (if it ain't dinner time, Mort could care less where I am!). No little puppy faces waiting for me at the front window. So sad...

Had bit of a scare at the groomer. The dogs got out of their collars and this other idiot owner stood with the door open...out they went. The groomers is on a busy street and the pictures running thru my head were not pretty. Butch came immediately (as usual) but Roxxy's recall is NOT good. However, I got her attention and called her and she CAME TO ME!! What a relief.

Aww, well im sure they will be home soon enough and all will be back to normal. Thats annoying about the person that left the door open, but I guess the combo of that and the dogs getting out of their collars did it. Do you have nice, clean groomed doggies now?

They won't be home for a couple of hours. If it weren't so hot, I would take them to the park (they don't get dirty or wet) as a treat. Guess I'll give them a chewy instead!

Oh youre a lucky lady to take them out after a grooming and not worry about them getting dirty and wet. When Marley gets groomed I think he specifically looks for ways to mess himself up again. oh well, dogs will be dogs.

They are home! They are soft and shiney and their nails look wonderful. Roxxy's were finally cut to a very short length when she had her teeth cleaned...she wouldn't hold still for them to do anything before. Now I can keep them short...thank goodness for the grinding my groomer does.

We are all very happy now...chillin in the bed. Great day for a nap.
