Observed nationally since 1964, this day is for us to be thankful for having (in my case somewhat) good vision, and to raise awareness of those around us who use a White Cane or a Guide Dog for greater independent safe travel.
Take a moment on this day to think about how much you use your sight every day; and how your life would change if you didnt have good vision.
