NY Cops rescue 47 Dogs in dog fighting ring

I would first like to thank the NYPD, Deputy Inspector Anthony Favale and the ASPCA for their efforts on behalf of those innocent dogs that were horrifically abused. Some of the dogs have never even seen the light of day! I hope these dogs are given a second chance at life in a loving home. They deserve time to heal both physically & mentally, they deserve to live out their lives in peace, love and comfort. We must put an end to dog fighting!

Cops arrested Raul Sanchez, and rescued 47 dogs from a dark, windowless Bronx basement, where police say a dogfighting ring was secretly running for more than a year. Mr. Sanchez has been charged with several animal-fighting felony charges.
