Have I mentioned what a ham this guy is? He is just such a joy and happy boy. Decided before we went for a walk today, we'd play some fetch... He's still not to good at it. He gets bored very quickly on everything. I swear he has ADHD.... LOTS of photos...

"GOT IT MOM!!!!"

Nice view from the side:

Here is scaredy cat at work. He greets every new object like it will leap out and bite him on the nose. It's funny as heck but annoying all the same. At least now he'll walk up to the object himself without me coaching him.

hmmmm what is that?

"Mom is it going to hurt me?"

Just a goof that's what he is. A silly, upbeat, lovebug, goofy Pit Bull...

He is just the cutest thing! Bridgette acts like everything might jump up and bite her too! She's literally scared of my rat!

You know; Nubs was like a diamond in the rough when you found him and now he's so shiny it sometimes hurts my eyes. :D He makes me smile everytime I see pictures, kind of like when Britches was around. (I know I refer to him ever time I see your threads..sorry about that) lol

Nubs makes me think a lot about that ruggrat. Happy, happy memories!

Nubs keep up the good work!

No need to be sorry about Britches. I miss the guy myself and I never even met him. There was something special about that boy. He has the same glow that Nubs has. Something about him that even people who don't like the breed are attracted too. Something rare IMO...

You realize it's 2 weeks shy of Nubs "Gotcha Day"? He has been with me for almost 1 full year. Amazing... He was my gift for everything I did for Carter and he still keeps giving me more and more every day. *tears in eyes* Sometimes it's so hard to believe a dog can mean and do so much for you. Gahhh.. now I'm crying... lol... I am thankful everyday I wake up and Nubs is around. There is just something about him that is special. I still can't place what it is...

I just can't look at one of your threads without getting teary eyed myself. I kick myself everyday for not adopting him, but I was in no situation to keep him. It sucks because I know he was one of kind, even if I could find such a bully that great, he still wouldn't be a Britches. I hope his family really does appreciate him that much. :)

Wow a year!?! That is amazing; no way does it seem like it's been that long. Nubs was in that shelter, at that exact time, for a specific reason. There is no way he would have this wonderful a life if you hadn't adopted him and I don't even know him, but from your pictures and threads he is one spirited dog. And I completely agree with you that they are rare.

After my first dog passed away I thought I would never bond with another animal that way. Ted came along soon after and he is more than I could have ever dreamed of. While he may have *mutters under breathe* several problems I wouldn't trade him for the world. This June will make two years and to think he'll be four years old this year makes my stomach drop. Lol

Ok ok i'll stop hijacking your thread..

I just love Nubs pictures. I think it's because his ears aren't cropped that I like the look of him. He doesn't look like he has a mean bone in his body...and always has that goofy grin with his tongue hanging out. And he is in such great shape. Keep up the good work and I always look forward to Nubs pictures. LOVE that face! :D

Beatiful pictures. I LOVE Nubs (just like everyone else) :). Teddie is right, he WAS a diamond in the rough. I remember those first pictures...he looked sad. He isn't sad anymore...he's ALWAYS smiling and he's just gorgeous. Gaaah, now I'M crying. Between Nubs and Britches....its just too much.

I can't wait to see his one year "gotcha" pictures! Give him a big hug/kiss from Mac'n'Roe!
