That guy is amazing Shaina!!! Those dogs are unbelievable. I love the jumping rope... :D

Great video and the windup greyhound is absolutely hysterical.

My boss just showed that to me yesterday. She said the dogs were taught with a shock collar?
Why would she think that? The dogs seemed to be having fun and didn't seem fearful... I certainly hope that's not the case.

Beautiful dogs... so smart too!

Shock collars don't automatically make a dog fearful or unhappy. If that were so, no one would ever use them. When used correctly, shock collars work.

It's an OLD movie - from the way he moves over the dogs, I suspect it was a lot of luring and modelling. shock collars are possible, they were certainly in use, but I don't see why anyone would think so in particular.

*ROFL!!* Leap Frog!

You know, this not only shows the bond and trust between trainer and human, but trust between dogs that they aren't going to hurt each other.

The Greyhound is BEAUTIFUL, and the wind up trick was fantastic! What I really love is how patient he is with the dogs. The dogs know what they're doing, but he doesn't rush them when they're standing on wobbly objects. They stand up in relatively quick order, but he doesn't make them hold it too long and he never gives any indication that they need to hurry up. He wants them comfortable for their tricks :)

Wow, that is an incredible video. Loved the music too. Liz Carrol is a great violinist (or fiddler I guess). I saw her at a folk festival in Maine years ago...and have been listening to her cd with that song on it for years. LOVE IT.
