Well I've been updating everyone here on the forums weekly on the puppies, most of you probably heard about their mother's unfortunate passing away last week. Happy(the mom) got hit by a car and died almost instantly, the puppies have had it hard since then! They're way too loud and messy to keep in the house so they've in a big pen with a heated house since she died. They had to go from mother's milk to bottled milk mixed with food. Now they have dry puppy food available and they get a little milk once or twice a day. I've never seen such happy dogs despite what they've been through, these little guys sure are troopers! We've picked out our puppy. We ended up going with the brown and black male, he's just like his mom. He wags his all the time you could give him a shot and his tail would still be going! We named him Haven and he's coming home next week. We wanted to wait but they are just too expensive on my cousins and he isn't getting the one on one he needs! Also, the puppies had their first baths and most didn't mind but a few were splashers lol!

After bathtime we let them dry off and play in the sun-

Baths make me hungry and feeding time is another 15 minutes away!

And FINALLY! Introducing the Haven! He has dark dark blue eyes but that'll go away as he grows. He's always wagging that tail of his and is just like his mom was. He reminds me so much of Happy it's ridiculous! He's doing great though and I'm making sure Happy's babies are taken care of..

Thanks For looking you guys! And for those of you who kept the puppies in your thoughts and prayers Thank you so much!! We needed every thought and prayer to get us through this..and I'm very thankful we were blessed with her puppies to raise and take care of.

Lol Yeah same here! Hallie hasn't spent alot of time with the puppies as I don't really let her run around my cousin's estate without me watching her and she comes running with a tilting head when she hears that video. Thank you very much, they are very precious.

Haha, imagine the puppy breath fumes they give off in person! They are doing well despite their mother's passing we are all just very thankful for the fact they are doing so well.

I haven't been on much for a long while & missed this story, but I'm sooo sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Happy
But GREAT JOB raising the pups!! They are absolutely adorable! What kind of dogs are they?

That's what I thought too! He should get a contract by the time he's 8 weeks old! haha. Yeah the little black and white one (now named scottie) will not give up, he wants to get into anything and everything.

I like him too. Thank you, he's short and stocky now but I think he may have a little BC in him. I don't think they'll be keeping one but alot of friends and family are.

Thank you, it was very very hard at first because the puppies missed they're mom, they weren't even eating solids yet and we were all missing Happy. But now we're doing much better and able to focus on them. We're not sure. Mom was some kind of Flat coated retriever/BC mix and the dad/s we're unsure of. We know of one dad for sure and he's a Golden mix, alot of the pups have German Shepherd or Rottie markings.
