What is the best way to train a dog that is NOT food motivated? I am trying to teach our cockapoo to walk slower at a heel. Actually not just walk slower but match his pace to his walker. He has one speed and it's a quick trot. But he is not at all food motivated. Also, what is the best way to use a no pull harness on a little dog, trying to get the proper correction down low is difficult. He can't use any type of collar for leading as he starts reverse sneezing with any pressure on his neck.

Elvis is 2 years old and does know how to heel, sit, stay, come, etc. We would like him to start learning to match his pace to his walker as our 7 y.o. daughter who has cerebral palsy and hip dysplasia would like to eventually be able to walk him and he would need to walk slower with her. She is able to walk our aussie and b/c mix as they will simply slow their pace to match hers. The walking is huge physical therapy for our daughter and the dogs are her biggest encouragement but she would love to be able to walk Elvis.

Thanks for any help.
