Does anyone have any ideas on gas heating in the home and dogs developing breathing problems?
I have been the vet and she removed one of my dogs teeth and said this would solve the problem of her grunting and breathing noises, but it has not helped at all....
I worry about the gas heater affecting the dog....any suggestions?
Best Regards Lynn

Get a plumber or heating and cooling person to check for carbon monoxide leaks. If it doesn't have a leak, it shouldn't be the problem. Things that can affect breathing are heat (high temps/humidity), high pollen count, smog, allergies, pain, overweight dog, heart problems, and some diseases. Other things could be environmental, like some cleaning products, carpet powders, etc.
