I just wanted to stop by here and introduce myself to the forum.
I have always been a dog lover, but aside from the time my mom and (ex) step-dad were married, I was not allowed to have a dog. I finally convinced my mother to let me adopt a dog from a shelter, and I did so this past Friday.
She's a marvelous little dog - a 2 1/2 year old mix of some sort... I haven't decided what she is yet. At the shelter they had her listed as a Rough Collie/Terrier mix. I can see some terrier, but not so much Collie. What I think I DO see if some Husky, or similiar dog.
No matter what she is, she is MINE and I'm crazy about her.
I also have 3 cats (who are not thrilled about Ellie, the dog), and 3 horses.
I look forward to learning a lot here, and making some new friends! Woof!
