New Rescue Pup
Meet Chester.
Adopted him on 6/3. Looks like some sort of chihuahua mix. 1 yr old. Had been part of an animal cruelty case, as he was left in an apt when the owners moved out. He got to the shelter on 5/13 at 11#, and was so fearful he would not let the staff touch him for the first 3 days. Definitely not the case now! He is the sweetest little guy. Had his first vet apt today, and he has gained almost 3 pounds since arriving at the shelter. He is a fast learner, though potty training is proving to be challenging.
