Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Crystal. I am 24 (almost 25) years old. I've been married for a little over 4 years now. I met my husband when he was in the military stationed in Korea (I actually met him through a friend when he came home to visit). We got married in May of 2008 and moved to El Paso TX where he was stationed at Fort Bliss. I got pregnant in June of 2009 with our oldest son Joshua. We were getting ready to be moved to Mannheim Germany when my husband was medically retired from the military due to a damaged disc in his lower back. We have since moved back to PA, and had our second son in October of 2010, Keelan. I am almost finished with school (I'm currently enrolled to get my LPN and will graduate in February). I couldn't be more excited to be done as I've been working on this since my high school graduation back in 2005. Moving all those times messed with my education a bit :) Anyway once graduation arrives in February I will then go straight into my RN (which will only take me about six months since I have all my previous college credit :)). We have two chihuahuas, Kong and Tink. We've had them both since they were eight weeks old, we got them about a week after moving to El Paso. We have since gotten an Aussie puppy named Dexter (he was rescued by us as a pup, in February actually, he's probably a little over six months now). He's definitely small for an Aussie, but we love him just the same, he brings a lot of fun to the table. I always say he's the "boys" dog, he follows them everywhere, lays with them and runs around with them. He's definitely a sweetheart. I absolutely love Chi's, they are my favorite breed. I know most people look at Chi's and think they're yappy little ankle biters, but I know better than that. My two aren't at all and they are the most loyal, loving dogs I've ever encountered. Funny enough I always said I never wanted one, but when we moved to El Paso there was a Chihuahua overload down there. We went to look and a long haired fluffy little rascal was constantly jumping at me and giving me kisses and the rest is history. We got him and his "sister" Tink at the same time and they have made my life even more of an adventure. Tink is everyone's dog, she loves everyone equally, and she's a sweetie. Kong is my little fluff ball (though he's not so little anymore, he's full grown and four years old :/ man does time fly). He follows me everywhere, I say he's my heart dog and I cannot imagine my life without him and his little antics :)

Anyhow, long story but that's me and my life in a nutshell.

Yes I have :/ Skye kept stealing small dog toys and socks and literally anything small she could find and eating it. She got into so much there was no way I could keep it all away from her so in order to save her life because she actually ended up needing surgery for an obstruction our friends who live on five acres and have no other animals or children took her. I still see her often but this eliminated a lot of the small things she was going after. She's so smart she figured out how to get into rooms after I would shut the doors. We even worked with a trainer for a bit. They think those issues stem from the way she was treated before we rescued her. Anyway she's happy and safe and that's all that matters to me, though I certainly miss her especially on long truck rides :/
