Hi Everyone! My name is Helene, I'm 23, and have a 2 and a half year old. Still trying to determine her breed! Her name is Zoey and I adopted her from Arkansas. She was found in a box, with half her body with no fur, the day after Christmas! She's definitely a herding breed of some sort. She needs tons of exercise and very independent. She is great around people but is very protective. Many people say rotty/shepherd mix however she's only 40-45 lbs!

Any help/ideas would be great!
Excited to be a member!

Hello and welcome! :) Your dog is beautiful ... and though she may be small I can see Rottweiler in her face. The smallness could be from the other mix she has in her. My Doberman/Rottweiler is only 65 pounds and 16 months old. I consider her an average Dobie or a small Rott. Lol! :)

If you could give me any piece of advice, what you would say?
I would say that socializing your dog is one of the greatest gifts you can give IMO ... so that they can be in almost ... if not "any" situation without fear and/or anxiety. A well socialized dog is a happy dog. When socialized properly ... they get to go more places and do many more things without negative issues arising ..........

The next piece of advice I would give is to Love and respect your forever friend and do well by him/her ... the loyalty and love they will give in return is endless. :)
