So, I've been living with my parents ever since my puppy was born (he is now 3 years old) and him and my parents dog have become best friends. I will be moving in May and would love to bring my dog with me but I'm not sure if I should separate the two. My parents dog is a 8 year old golden retriever and he's getting pretty old. The only thing is, at my parents house they are outside dogs. The backyard is fenced in and definitely big enough for them but when I move I do plan on keeping my dog inside. I've really been torn on whether to separate them or not, I know being inside would be better for my dog but i'm not sure if keeping him from his best friend is worth it or not. Please Help!
