I recently adopted a rescue dog who is growing like a weed, we have had her 3 weeks, she was at 13 lbs. when we got her, now she is at 20lbs. I was told she was German shepherd which she may be, I'm just curious to what others think? she does look like a shepherd with all of her characteristics except her ears (fuzzy and floppy... any input would be appreciated.. really doesn't matter either way just curious. could she be mixed if so with what?

She could be pure GSD. . .they do have fuzzy, floppy ears when they're young. It'll be easier to tell as she gets older.

Thank you for your thoughts on her.. I've tossed around the idea of her mix possibly being with lab, border collie or golden retriever.. or even longer haired GSD..? Thanks again.

Hi,

She is not a purebred German Shepard I dont think.. To me she looks like german shephard cross with a lab/golden. Her face somewhat represents a kelpie also - SO difficult to tell :p
