My first foster is coming home tomorrow after work.

The facts:
-She is GSD/boxer mix.
-Less than a year old
-Accepting of everybody except cats. We'll have to work on that.
-She will most likely be with me part way through march.
-Her past owners spoiled her in a human way but they "trained" her by hitting. Fast movements and raising your arm will startle her.

I'm so excited but so nervous. My nerves are making me almost physically ill. It's been a long time since I've worked with a teen brat aged dog. I think I've doggy proofed everything but I guess she'll be the test of that.

I'll post pictures tomorrow.

SHE IS HUGE!

It's no wonder the owners decided to dump her. She's giant puppy. No manners! That is of course their fault but I don't know how anybody could have lived with this dog for nearly a year. She dragged my friend Jimmy. She whines all the time and that is the most pressing issue for me. I live in a condo with my mother and I can't have her whining while I'm at work/school.

How can I get her to stop whining in her crate asap?
