Not quite. For the next week, our housemate will be watching Annabelle. She's a little Boston Terrier x Border Collie (?) mix who used to belong to the housemate's brother. Unfortunately he can no longer keep her, so we're watching her until her new owner can pick her up at the end of this week.

Anyway, Dexter has been overjoyed the past 24 hours (she got here last night). We had a gate up last night so Dex wouldn't overwhelm her with kisses, but today we've let them romp now that she's relaxed.

Enjoy!

It looks like they're ripping each other apart, but it's all in good fun. Notice Perry, the bunny, in the background for a few. He's not used to have his cage top on -- we figured it'd be best, since Annabelle's never been around bunnies before.

I'm sure I'll have lots more to share as the week progresses!

In that last pic, Annabelle looks like a wild mad dog...glad it's all in fun! Dexter is going to miss his playmate when she's gone.
I am dreading this weekend... he's already so attached to her. My housemate tends to keep her in his room with him when they're not playing, and Dex just sits by his door and whines. He did it today even though he was out walking her!

At least we know Dexter would not have a problem if/when we do introduce a second pup to our pack. But that's not for a few years. ;)
