We adopted a dog today from a local humane shelter :) She's sleeping on my arm right now, lol. Her name is Hailey, she's a little over 14 months old. She and Molly are getting along famously, and she's been very mannerly so far, but for a tiny bit of woofing. The first impressions so far have all been good ones. I took some pictures and will post just as soon as I upload them :D

Thanks guys, but there were two seperate incidents last night, with Hailey fixating on Molly/baring teeth/quietly snarling/snapping at Molly. My husband is really worried that Hailey cannot be trusted, and he's rethinking our decision to adopt her :( The dogs seemed to be getting along so well, that the snapping was totally unexpected. I'm trying to remember that Hailey hasn't been here very long. The dogs have to figure out who's dominant in the relationship, and that this is normal, to an extent. So now I'm being extra watchful.

Ooh, I was about to congratulate you but saw your update... hope it turns out to be just an initial settling-in type thing... I hope she settles in with Molly beautifully and becomes a beloved member of the family. I'll think positively that that will happen and say CONGRATS to you! :)

Re: New dog - having some issues

Thanks for the positive thinking, MrsG. I want this to work out. If it doesn't, I don't think I'll have the heart to adopt another dog while we have Molly :(
And thanks for that information, Blaze, I didn't know that. I'm keeping a close eye, but they've been pretty good today, exept for some real rough play.
