I have a neighbor, who is also a close friend, who has two (loud) barking dogs. They bark at everything and anything and sometimes will sit and bark for hours at a time. Their invisible fence allows the dogs to roam and sometimes come close to my property and far from their home, but no matter where they are we still can hear them. They have been using bark collars with limited success and are trying to solve the problem but there seem to be very few workable solutions. They are a busy working family and are sometimes away from their home for many hours and sometimes days. What are their options? Are there any better types of bark collars or something else that would help?

If they are gone that much, maybe they need to find better homes for them. The dogs are just bored. They see and do the same things every day.

They really don't want to get rid of them or perform any operations on them (I don't blame them) because they have kids and they're all really attached to both the dogs. When I said days I didn't mean very often or all the time, just every now and then. Are there any collars or other methods they could use? Training, if it took up a lot of time, would not be an option either, both parents work long hours and spend their time off with the kids. I didn't think there would be too many workable solutions, just thought I'd give it a shot (pun intended). Thanks
