Hi everyone. I've had my dog for about two years now (he's a German Shepard/husky) but recently he had been moved to my sister's (he's been there about three months now) and every time I visit he's constantly howling and barking like he's being attacked. I want to say it's separation anxiety but I'm unable to bring him back to my house due to very complicated reasons. Is there anything I can do to make him feel more at home at my sister's? Or is it something other than separation anxiety that's been making him howl for the past three months? Thanks!

Huskies howl to communicate. GSD's bark. He may be bored, in need of exercise or play, he might miss you, could be a medical reason, or he just wants attention. Take him to a vet first to rule out anything medical, then work on finding the reason for the noise.
