Hi, i have a 8.5 week old staffordshire bullterrier, weight 6.5kg.
According to their feeding chart (Feeding Guidelines | Lily's Kitchen) he needs more than 800 grams of this food daily but that seems way too much to me.
He currently eats 400grams of this food per day. He eats 5 times a day and always leaves a little in his bowl so i figure he isnt hungry anymore.

P.s. it is a wet food called puppy recipe
Five meals a day are probably too many. 3 small meals is better. Maybe 4 meals, but at 8 weeks old I never had trouble with three meals.

Never feed the amount on the bag. It is never right. It is also better to feed an all life stages food than puppy food which tends to be too rich.

I prefer to solve such issues with our vet, because if I make a mistake in feeding my puppy, it can affect his health. I don't know, maybe I'm too worried about that, what do you think? Besides, I have a friend who knows everything about dogs (he's a dog breeder), so sometimes I listen to his advice. Recently he recommended me to visit the pet blog where there are many good articles and pet care tips. Thus I found an article about the best puppy food for labs and thanks to this article, I changed the food of my labrador to the best one and he no longer has any health issues.
