My dog is 1yr 3 mo old and due for her rabies shot. So I may as well do her annual vaccines as well. We have had her over a year now and I believe she is due for them also.... will have to check the records but I am almost positive.

Anyways, my question is - does she need to get this:

Annual Dog Vaccines $31 (Rabies, DHP & KC)
or
Annual Dog Vaccines w/o KC $22

KC = Kennel Cough

BTW, this is a low-cost vet I just found, which is AWESOME since I have 6 pets total......

Let me know ASAP, thanks!

I am trying to avoid over-vaccinating.... letting them talk me into things she doesn't need. But at the same time want to make sure she is covered. I just don't know why she needs kennel cough.... I would assume dogs in shelters and rescues need that.... but not a family pet with only 1 other dog in the house. But there might be something I don't know....

One thing I do suggest is NOT combining other vaccines with the Rabies vaccine. The Rabies vaccine is hard on dogs. I don't do any other vaccines within 4 weeks either side of the Rabies.

Bordetella is mostly only necessary if your dog will be going into a kennel/boarding facility, or into training classes.
