How do you respond when she messes in the house? How do her "toe hairs" look? The only two reasons I've seen (in my experience) of dogs who were afraid of the floor were rescue dogs who's previous owners shoved their faces towards or in potty accidents, or those who slipped on the floor or because they needed their paw pad hairs trimmed.
