My puppy seems to not want to eat out of her bowl, but when I scoop the food from the bowl and into my hand, she eats it from my cupped hand, why is this?

It's dry food with some gravy mix, she doesn't like dry food much but with the gravy mix, it's tolerable.

Who cares why she does it. If you want her to eat out of the bowl then just put it in the bowl. 15 minutes later, pick it up if she doesn't eat it.

Sometimes it's the bowl....metal bowls can give static shocks and some plastic ones have a heavy petroleum taste to them. Usually, ceramic ones work best if they're not too narrow.

Have you tried holding the bowl? ease her into it? If that doesn't work, limiting the food time like the other posters said is your best bet. Dogs can go awhile without eating... eventually she'll eat.
