Don't you have a breeder as a mentor that you can ask these questions? I'm going to put this in health and hope you don't get flamed.

In the mean time, here are some articles you may find helpful (from simple google search you could have done yourself). Anything beyond this, you probably need to talk to your vet about.

Firstly make sure you have your vet's number and the emergency vet's number in an easy to find place. Also make sure you know how to get to the E-vet. It's almost gaurented that if something goes wrong it will be at the most inconvenient time.

Second tip start taking her temp at regular intervals now. That way you'll have a guide so you will know when her temp does drop.

Last tip is to develop a thick skin. Whenever someone post about breeding thier dogs on the internet they almost always get chewed alive. It's assumed that you're a BYB until proven otherwise.

Whats a BYB?
Back yard breeder -- someone who is not a professional breeder but decides it would be fun to breed their pet. They usually do not do extensive genetic/health testing on both parents and put a priority on improvement of the breed, so they're generally looked down upon in the dog owners/breeders community.

Include rescuers in the groups that 'look down' on BYB.

It's not that we feel that NOBODY should breed, it's that we feel that breeding should be done SELECTIVELY and CAREFULLY. We also believe that breeders should be responsible for the pups they produce for the LIFETIME of the puppy.
