If you are using 4Health chicken and rice ... this "could" be the problem? My dogs got bad bad gas from that particular one. I switched to the 4Health lamb and rice ... and it stopped. There is no corn or wheat or soy in the 4Health. I also use TOTW Pacific Stream. Chicken causes gastric problems in my little ones. :/

Just a thought! Poor you and the dog!

EDIT: I just checked back on one of my posts as I had forgotten about the gas ........ and someone said to give a little plain yogurt ... like a couple tablespoons daily in the food and also someone else said to ask your vet about Gas-X.

Yes that is the 4health I was using. I was just doing some old reading and saw where other say Chicken could be the issue. Since she is on TOTW now how long do you think it would take to get it out of her system? It was so bad today I had to make her stay outside while I let the house air out,you could smell her farts even after she had been outside for 15 mins.My husband is about to kill me for taking her in. And my daughter has locked her out of her room. She can overpower the scent of a candle.
It took my dogs a few days ... but the frequency of the actual gas attacks got less and less as the days went by. I would get some plain yogurt to help the bacteria in her tummy!

EDIT: You don't suppose it is also a combination of stress from the move do you? I was thinking about that too.

Heading to the store now for yogurt. THANK YOU,actually my whole family will thank you if I can get her to stop.
I hope it works for you! I sleep with my dogs ............... it was nasty! Lol! :) Let me know if it works. Mine haven't had gas for a while now. If that doesn't work I would call the vet and ask about the Gas-X for sure!
