I've been searching for a certain term used to describe a dog training technique. The technique goes something like this - if you have a dog who has an obsessive behavior like fence fighting, you let them do it but then you click them for looking at you. You let this go on until eventually you've kind of put fence fighting on cue. There was a one or two word term to describe this but I can't remember it.

You aren't going for a cue for the bad behavior but rather to redirect before they get obsessive or reactive
