My Loyal Border Pitt

For the last 11 years I've been blessed with the most loyal and loving dog I've ever met, let alone had the pleasure of owning. He came as the result of a close friends smooth border collie male and american pit bull female getting jiggy with it.. I'd known both these dogs since they were pups and adored them so instantly knew I was meant to have one of their pups when I found out. I chose the "runt" of the brigade with his matching white socks on all 4 HUGE paws and never looked back. He has saved my life on multiple occaisions due to my health issues and is an integral and loved part of our family called Charlie 💚 (Lord Frarl as the kids call him.) He doesnt like socialising with other dogs due to the amount of times he was attacked as a puppy and has only done anything to other dogs on the 3 occasions I was attacked by said dogs. Each occaision he pinned them down until their owners caught up with them, meanwhile im unconscious still and only got informed of these incidents by the owners of the other dog upon regaining consciousness. I trained him none of this pinning and guarding so shows how loyal and loving the nurse dog gene is in the pit bull family.

Handsome pup. Considering your location though, saying that your dog is half APBT (especially since he looks like it) isn't a good idea, unless they've repealed the Dangerous Dog Act and I just haven't heard about it.

He's 11+ years old now was assessed by vets as an approved medical alert dog for my epilepsy for 6 and a bit years. The term pitbull is very loose for any dog that looks like him and his mum but hes never attacked anything with any intent, all 3 of the dogs that went for me were labradors of sorts... but my dad has 2 labs that are lovely and all that makes a dog what it is, is its family and lifestyle.
