I recently purchased a Yorkie and he is 13 weeks old. Has tear staining. I'm new to white dogs. My ??... What can I do?? Requesting information on using treatment to prevent & treatment to clean from fur. Don't know what to do. Also, I have seen shampoo's specifically for White dogs, does it work better??
Any help would be appreciated

Yorkshire Terriers are blue and tan. Do you mean a Biewer Terrier (blue, tan, and white)?

Tear staining is usually because the tear ducts are too small to effectively drain the tears, and they run out onto the dogs' face, instead. There are some grooming aids that can help, but keeping the area clean and dry is the best option.
