My dog had an emergency surgery on Tuesday, to have her uterus and ovaries removed. Today i noticed dripped blood spots on my floor after she came in from going to the bathroom. I looked and there are 2 spots that opened where the stitches were, which it looks like they all have dissolved. She had seepage with blood in it coming from the spots and a little from her vagina. I called the vet and they told me i can wait until morning to be seen. What can i do for her until then? This happened about an hour or so ago and it isnt seeping like it was.
