My Dogs Paws

Good morning! My best companion is almost 12 and doing awesome but as of late he has been going after the fur surrounding his paws. Now the fur around the surrounding areas is gone. Its odd. I haven't changed anything in his diet. I feed him Wellness brand (both wet mixed with dry) and as of the last few years I've also added a little (crushed) MSM Glucosamine to help with the joints. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great! Thank you
