I noticed that all those dental bones - Greenies to Nutri-dent - all say that they are not for dogs below ten pounds. My little dog weighs about 5 pounds, and that's as heavy as she's ever going to get (unless she gets fat). Will she NEVER be able to have those? Why do they not recommend them for adult dogs under 10 pounds?

Because they can cause blockages, if you want ot give her something good to chew on, give her a raw beef rib bone or chicken leg bone, they're safe and will clean her teeth. Just remember to never give cooked bones of any type as they can splinter and puncture her intestines.
