This is my dog Daisy, she is 1 year old I have a question if anyone can answer it, when I got her they told me she was a Jack Russell and me and everyone I meet says she looks like a boxer or a bulldog mix so I'm wondering if anyone knows what she could be by looking at her? it drives me mad not knowing :laugh: I know you can't know 100% but it would be interesting to see what people think.

love her markings... <3 what a cutie... You might want to check the other threads on which dna test they have done for the dogs that were really good. I suck at the what's my breed game.. sorry Daisy is a doll....

Pit or Pit mix is what I see. I see NO Jack Russel Terrier. Not at all.

As long as she is a good dog it doesn't matter unless you live where there are breed bans or your insurance carrier will deny insurance because of the breed.

Rescues have become openly untruthful about the dogs they have since many ARE Pit and Pit Mix and the breed is difficult to place. I find this untruthfulness at the least disingenuous and at the worst often a bad fit for the dog and the owner.

Thanks for your thoughts, I do see the markings of a Jack Russell so I never questioned that, the person I got her from seemed to think she was too but obviously something was going on. My vet thinks she looks more staffie like, everyone can see something different, she does look staffie to me but I always come back to the thought of if she has got Jack Russell in her then the size difference of the dogs is weird. I suppose I'll need to get a dna test if they are true

It could be pitbull, but it is more likely to be staffie in the UK. We have thousands of staffies and their crosses. Lovely dog. Let us know if you use a DNA test.

Yeah I think its staffie, it would be interesting to get a dna test done at some point
