I just got this series of pictures as an e-mail from a friend. I am forever complaining about my neighbors Lab killing all the squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks in the area. Not to mention any stray cat that ventures too close. So anyway, here are the pictures she sent me.

I agree salask. It is annoying to me whenever people say things like "animals don't have feelings" I certainly believe they do. That poor baby will be very wary of dogs in the future that is for sure. It amazes me what mama's human or other will do for their babies.OMG - that's so cute. I love that last picture - the look on the dog's face but i especially love the squirrel comforting her baby on their way to safety as if to say "don't worry honey, it'll be alright"
