I know I haven't posted a lot of pictures yet. Hopefully these will do!

Anyways, these were taken at the dog park about a week and a half ago...

Doggies! (Morgan is on the left with the green shamrock collar)

This is one of Morgan's best dog park buddies.

Standing on one of the agility platforms.

My handsome boy. Gotta love the wind-blown ear look!

He's already getting tired. Usually he tries harder to keep up with the group!

Morgan pretends to be a GSD...

This basset hound thought Morgan was the coolest dog EVAR.

Not a great pic, but he's catching the frisbee!

WOW! How cool! I love Morgan's tongue... : P Spotted, how unique!

It looks like Morgan had a blast! I hope someday I'll have Donatello worked up well enough that he'll be able to romp and wrestle with other dogs...

Thanks! I have no idea where the spotted tongue comes from. He's a shelter puppy (got him at 9-10wks old), so I have zero background on him. A lot of folks tell me that he must be part Chow, but nothing about him says "Chow" to me.

I'm sure that once Donatello is ready for it, he will have a blast, too! :D
Thanks, I hope Donatello does too, he desperately needs some guidance of the doggie persuasion. ; ) lol!

As for your dog being part chow... I'm not sure if the purple tongue is just subjected to the Chow breed or not. I once had a rescue puppy find it's way to my home after a tornado one night; She had a purple mouth and spotted tongue, but was the size of a Beagle. ??? Strrrrange!

I know there are other breeds with purple tongues, but it just seems to be the most prominent with Chows.

All in all, Morgan's tongue will probably always remain a mystery. LOL! :p
Great pictures!!! Morgan is gorgeous.
Mystery it shall stay! lol! It looks like a sharpie exploded in his mouth. : P
How adorable! I wish we had a dog park around here. The spotted tongue isn't just in Chows. My grandma's dogs both have it and the boy is a retriever/shepard mix (I think) and the girl is an Akita/husky mix.

Thank you! :D

Hmmm... interesting. I would kind of doubt that Morgan has any akita or husky in him, but he may have lab or shepherd. (He was listed as a "lab mix" at the shelter, but who really knows. :p)
Who knows. hehe. I do like the sharpie description. No matter what he is, he is beautiful.
