I just got back from roller blading with my dogs. I am absolutely loving it. They like to pull. I'm lazy. It's a match made in heaven. I think tomorrow I'll take just my cocker though. The basset is 10 years old and was clearly fatigued after about 15-20 mins. The cocker was raring to go still. I would blade and he would follow me at a good jog. I tried biking with him, but that was just too fast I guess as we didn't get far before he parked his butt and wouldn't move. I think blading is going to be more productive. I figure he'll pull me about half the way, then he'll be worn out enough to stick right by my side.

I used to roller blade with my Lulu and it was wonderful. she could keep pace with me no matter what and never pulled on the leash. Oliver does alright, though I have not gone in quite some time. My Bear was a problem. lol He went along just as nice as could be until he saw a rabbit. Then I found out how NOT skilled I was on roller blades. I went flying and Bear no longer was my roller blading partner.
