I'm moving cross country in a few months and I have a young cockapoo. I'm concerned with disrupting her structure and training with a new environment. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make the transition easier, I'd love to hear them. Also, tips for the plane ride, are sedatives a good or a bad idea?

Keep your training consistant throughtout the move. I recently drove cross country for my move and then lived in a hotel with my dogs (and hubby and daughter) for three months, yes it was hard on us, but keeping consistant with training and excercise helped. No experience with small dogs on planes, but be sure she stays hydrated, will she be flying in the cabin with you (as carry-on) or flying in the cargo hold and which airline?
