I got home, pulled weeds, and made a flirt pole for Cerbie. I love it, and he loved it, and he's laying down tired right now. Tired. I'm sure it won't last too long, but I still like it. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. I've never heard of a flirt pole before I got on here, so thank you all for mentioning them. Cerb's a happy boy now.

Ooooh, welcome to the world of the flirt pole! I use mine EVERY DAY with Mac, and Roe joins in too. We do about 30 minutes to 1 hour a day, depending on how hot it is and how tired Mac gets. He LOVES it! I've improved my technique too, will have to post an updated video of one of our sessions now!

I have visions of what a flirt pole would look like, but somehow I doubt they're accurate.
he he, or appropriate

There are videos and photos, but it's basically a rod with a line that has some sort of lure attatched to the end. Think of the fishing pole type toys for cats that have feathers on the end.

We have one for the cats and I've thought of making one for Mojo but we could only use it outside as the cats would definitely want to play too!

I made mine of PVC pipe, a rope, and a rope toy. I've succeeded in whacking myself in the head, back and shoulder, and made Cerb crash into the back of me and we both fell. I hope that my technique improves fast, or I may seriously injure myself.
