Hi This is my first time on this forum so thank you for reading this. My 9 month yorkie mix has a lump in her groin area that seemed to come up fairly quickly, and I am concerned. It is near her vaginal area, which looks normal, but more on her lower belly. It is about an inch long a little red maybe but not much. It is under the skin, not on top and is rubbery and soft. Doesn't seem to bother her at all. I am wondering if it might be a swollen gland? Or is it normally developing breast tissue (seems different than the rest of her belly area though)? Doesn't seem like a hernia. I will call vet today. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts as I am scared about what it might be. She is otherwise very active and healthy at the moment. She is not spayed yet. Thank you for your thoughts. lump photo.jpg
