Bob and Sacha are the same age- 8 months- and they're each pretty good at loose leash walking when we walk them alone. However, if we all go out together, they turn into pulling machines.

Is there a solution for this? Or will we always have to walk them separately?

How did you teach them to walk loose leash separately? You will probably need to start from the basics when they are together and reinforce good behavior until they generalize that loose leash walking also applies to walks together.

If you're finding it hard to handle two dogs at once maybe try front clip harnesses so you aren't being pulled off your feet until you get them walking nicely.

Well, I trained them from the sticky on this forum.

I asked my nephew to make us a harness- he makes them for horses- so we're trying to figure it out for dogs. It's going to take some engineering. (We can't find them here.)

Ugh, yikes!
That's no good.

I think I saw some patterns for harnesses a while back....but they were weight pull training harnesses. You might want to search that query then modify the harness a bit? Not sure what else I can offer you. Good luck though!

can you buy items from Etsy? They have dog gear for every size imaginable!
That's a great suggestion! However, I'm afraid customs is taking everything. We will make some things. My FIL can also make a lot of stuff, and he's coming to visit soon. I'll just be sire to print a good pattern.
