Hello, I am a new member. I live in the Inland Empire (Riverside) of Southern CA. I recently rescued what I believe to be a 4-5 month old purebred female Plott Hound from a local shelter, because she was coming down with kennel cough and they were going to euthanize her. I am searching for a highly regarded, no-kill Humane Society or Rescue facility somewhere in Southern CA where I can relinquish this beautiful pup.

Thank you ever so much for your input.

Look I to the Helen Woodward Animal center. They have a veterinary staff and are as close to no kill as it gets. When I get home I'll see what contacts I can find for an all breed rescue in your area that accepts relinquished dogs as most are shelter pull only.

That place looks nice, more opinions welcome!

After looking at the Helen Woodward Animal center website more in-depth, I have been unable to figure out what their policy is on accepting relinquished dogs. Do you have any idea what their practice is cshellenberger? I suppose I should email them.

If anyone else knows of a good Rescue/ HS please let me know!
