Hello - I am in search of a shepherd mix, preferably lab or golden. Does anyone know of a breeder? I am in Colorado but I will travel to get it!

Have you checked the shelters near you? Ours would squeal with delight if you came in wanting a shepherd/lab mix.

Why would you get a mix from a breeder? There are plenty in shelters.

I can't find any young puppies at the shelters near me. I'll keep searching, thanks!

It's a common mix, but I don't know of anyone responsible who breeds it on purpose. You see lots of these at the shelters.

A Lab x GSD and a Golden x GSD are two different "designer" dogs. The Golden mix seems to have a more pointed, black nose. The Lab x GSD is very common ... I prefer the brown variety When I search, I look for GSD , with Lab mixed in OR I look for Lab with GSD mixed in... Should be very easy to find nearby, using petfinder ... or just watching the local rescues and shelters.
