Not new. I'm GoGoGypsy. I, along with some other longtime members, have been locked out of my account. Never received the new password email (checked spam), can't retrieve password via my email address for unknown reasons (possibly wrong email, but I tried the only two I've used for many years), and I'm not certain whether the contact form worked, since there was no confirmation page upon submission. I private messaged an admin, but I wasn't certain if that was the correct account to message.

ANYWAY, I would very much like to access my account as I have some adorable puppy pictures to post.

To whomever who can help with this issue, please do. I'll pass the information along to others.

Same problem here. I am actually Kyllobernese and I did receive the new password but no way it would work. Have tried emailing administration but no replies at all. Figured the only way I could get results was to re-register.

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the inconvenience. We're grateful for your patience while we get through this security upgrade. If you are locked out of your account and have not received an email to reset your password, it could be one of two reasons:

1. Your user account is attached to an email address that perhaps you no longer use/have access to and/or forgot about. Based on the emails I've fielded, a lot of of users fall into this category.

2. Your email service may be blocking our email to you.

If you created a new account and you want back in on your old account, send me a PM. You will have to confirm to me the email address connected to your old account. It's the only way we will know that you actually own that account. Once you do this, I'll merge your accounts together and update your profile with an email address of your choosing.

Still locked out. At least a couple of other longtime members are also.

Mr. Yung did reply to me and sent me a password that worked so I am back on as Kyllobernese, not Cariboo Dogs like I had re-registered as. Hope you get it sorted out too. I still have one other Forum that I cannot get into or any response but it is one that I don't post on very often so I am not even going to pursue it. Would have hated to not get back on this forum.

Hey there,


If you are still having issues with password resets, Best thing to do is Sign out of your account. Clear the login info and click "login". Once at that page, click on the forgot password area.



If that is not working for you, check your spam/junk folder, and see if it’s there.

if it’s not there, go to the bottom of the page, and click on the contact us area. This will direct you to the mainline to our manual password reset area. In the subject line write "password reset" and put in the info of your account name, email on the account, and email it needs to be changed to if need be. Someone will be in touch with you shortly about it. one of us will come back and manually reset the password for you.


that should sort it out. let us know if you need anything else.

I was locked out because the email I used to register 6 years ago is defunct now and I never bothered to update to my new one. (Duh.) I dropped the admin a message and they updated my email from behind the scenes and I was finally able to get the reset email I needed. They are totally willing to help you out get your account current with passwords. ;)

We still have a few long time members who are locked out of their accounts. They have sent messages in asking for their e-mails to be updated but have not yet heard back. Can anything be done to get them back on DF?

Sorry for the frustration everyone. There is a bit of a delay getting to everyone. We are experiencing quite a high volume or support requests and have teams working around the clock to get everyone back to their original accounts. Thank you for understanding.

just saw this after re-registering. i used to be jbray01. searched my emails, but couldnt find a reset. wouldnt mind being restored, but im willing to rack my post count up again... :)

Just a reminder that multiple registrations are still a violation of forum rules. These are exceptional times but it's probably best not to flaunt it.
