What meds and diet did you do? I am in a similar situation.
I don't believe the OP has been on here since this thread started.

Does your Dobe have a diagnosis of liver failure? Or copper storage disease? If it's copper storage disease, there are medications that can help clear the copper, but they can be hard on the dog, and you need to be working with your vet on the proper dosage and monitoring. As far as diet, there are several commercial diets formulated for dogs with liver disease, available as a prescription from your vet.

Ah. I'm sorry to hear that.

I would discuss diet with your primary vet and/or oncologist, to see what they recommend. I know that Hills, Purina, and Royal Canin all make food specifically for liver failure, and other foods may be suitable, as well, as long as they meet the nutrition profile.

If she's receiving chemo, then that could affect her appetite and/or ability to utilize her food.
