Some background
Mojo is a chihuahua that we "rescued" when he was about a year. We got him from a couple that are known for buying dogs, then 6 months to a year later getting rid of them for whatever "reason". He obviously hasn't been socialized much and possibly beaten and definately teased by males. We can tell this because he will always warm up to our female friends way faster than males.

But back to the problem I'm having. He's been neglected because he is very clingy. For attention he'll lick and lick me even if I give him attention he will continue to lick. When I ignore him to see if that will stop it NOT. It absolutely drives me crazy. I don't mind a little licking but not all the time. Anybody have any suggestions as how to get him to quit? It would be greatly appreciated!!!

Everytime he starts tell him 'no'. You might need to do a little touch on his neck (a la Ceasar) to redirect his attention.

Wash, rinse, repeat. ;)
