i posted my puppy about 2 years ago, he's in another thread. but now im curious to see what my fellow dog folks think my other dog is. her papers said boxer greyhound, but i only see the boxer. i'm thinking she is boxer/american pit (the lean one). everybody is always asking what breed is she and commenting how beautiful she is and saying she looks like a pure breed, but i know better lol. she originally came from a shelter in cocke county, tennessee.

My uneducated guess would include boxer/lab and some type of hound....although I don't see much greyhound....except for that super-long-coffeetable-clearing tail!

I just watched 50/50 (great movie) and the headshot of your boy looking right at the camera is very close to the one scene with skeletor, the greyhound. So maybe.

If she came from Cocke County, TN I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't a part-full bred Mountain Cur. They are my heart breed and I was completely captivated by my Mountain Cur, Delilah for six years before her untimely passing. Here are a few pics of her...I think she looks similar to your dog.

No telling but I can see some curr in that make up or possibly some sort of plott hound.

thanks for the replies and pics. cute dogs. and yea id have to agree the cur does look very similar with the shading around the face and general head shape. maybe cur and boxer? are boxers popular around cocke county?
