Hi All,

My yorkshire puppy is 10 weeks old. We are using puppy pads to train her until she gets her shots because we live in paris and don't have a lot of grassy areas. I work from home so I am with her most the time. However, once a week I have an event from 6-12 pm. I am so nervous about leaving her alone.

I have a Crate ( with blanket on top) inside of her play pen so she can go in and out as she pleases. The pen also has food water, toys and pee pads set up. I also have a baby cam set up incase on emergencies.

Will she be okay left alone this long at night? I feel like a terrible mom but I also do not want her to get separation anxiety. Any advice would be great!

I think she will be fine. Have you been practicing leaving her for short periods? It's good to do this while you're home so when you do need to leave she is already used to it and okay being alone.

Thanks so much for your reply. I have left her a lone a few times for an hour or so and she is always in her crate/pen at night.
