My 16 year old Husky has been leaking Urine for about a year. The vet told us that this was normal due to her age and that she was spayed. Since my dog refuses to take pills, there wasn't much we could do for her.

Today I noticed that the urine drops are darker colored and smell awful.

Does she have an infection now? What is this a sign of?

Does anyone have a similar experience?

You need to have her seen by the vet agian.
He's the only one that can really tell you if the cause is infection or something different.

I believe dark colored urine is a signal to bring your dog to a vet urgently.
