I have another thread about how to protect window sills in the new condo we are renting but I have one other concern.

The grass is not in yet and once it goes in I am concerned that we will have trouble with the owners if the dogs make white spots in the grass. I know I can put water on the grass, add things to their food etc. I don't want to mess with their body chemistry but I have heard that high protein food makes the spots worse.

Does anyone know if high protein food makes the lawn spots worse?

I could care less about my own grass but this won't be my grass and we are living in a condo area with a lot of people close by. We are much younger than the rest and I fear that there will be some "lawn people" around us. You know the type! They have a scissors out trimming the grass at 7am around the mailbox.
