The Zoom Groom works brilliantly - I'm pretty sure I've taken out enough hair in the last two weeks to build a Pomeranian if I so chose - except for one problem: it's now my dog's favorite chew toy. She goes nuts for the little rubber spines - and now that I've been grooming her with it, it smells like a dog. She loves being groomed, but can't hold still because she wants to eat the brush. Any advice? Should I just get another tool so that she can chew on one while I brush with the other?

Don't think that I would let her chew on it. It's not tough enough to withstand chewing. But I must agree they are great for removing loose hair. They are like a curry comb made for horses.
